Empowerment

When I decided to write on this subject I didn't have to research very far, because this condition has lived within me, alive and well, all 58 years of my life. I call it The Ugly Truth because that's what it is to me. It digs into the core of your being, leaving you with shame, embarrassment and lack of self-esteem and motivation.

When I was a little tyke no one in my family had knowledge of ADD or ADHD. I attended public schools but the school system either had no knowledge of this or turned their heads the other way. Therefore I grew up in my own make-believe world. I never dreamed of being an author because I didn't think I was capable of being something that great. That all changed the day God freed me from the bondage of self, and I was born again.

When God gave me Dillon I wasn't aware of the vital role pets can play in one's life. So I decided to do some searching and learned how owning a pet may empower your life. I have linked a few websites below that might help you if you are struggling with ADD or ADHD
