Hello, I'm Dillon Welcome to Tagg-A-Long
TAGG-A-LONG is a program created by my dad Lionel James and me. And the meaning is all in the name. My dad and I found this picture to be one of sadness and very disturbing, and it is the main reason we created this program.
While some pet parents don't find tying their pets up to a tree or post as unacceptable behavior, it is our opinion that it is unacceptable behavior. So we put this question to all pet owners who practice this behavior.
"How would you feel if you were in your pet's place and this was done to you?"
Before you begin please read Dillon's To-Do List below very carefully and be sure you have everything you need.
This program is designed to work by helping pets in shelters and foster homes wherever they may be to get adopted. As well as pets that are not currently living in Shelters. We hope to accomplish this by employing dogs and cats, as Emotional Support Animals or Service Animals to Seniors and people dealing with depression and/or mental issues or a physical condition diagnosed by their licensed Medical Doctor or licensed Therapist. There are other ESA Doctors available on the internet you can contact, but they may carry a healthy price tag and come with guidelines that may not be favorable to you. And they may not be helping sheltered pets in need of a loving home.
Once you have the support of your doctor and his or her written letter saying you will benefit from having an ESA, SD, TP, or a PSD you can then reach out to anyone of the Service Animal Registry. Please be sure to do your homework and check out all the services that you contact. We are working hard to build our TAGG-A-LONG program so that in the near future we will be able to asses with things such as. . .adoption fees that are required by many shelters. It is the responsibility of the handler to have their pet trained in the services in which the pet is providing to each individual owner. This is a service we hope to offer at some point as well.
Many Shelter have several programs now that can help you in many ways. They also offer monthly discounts on adoptions through Pet Care Foundation Once you have your doctor's documentation and your adoption fee along with the animal registration fee, providing your pet is trained to meet your needs and you have completed their application and received your confirmation package for example, (ESA License) with the verification. You can email us below if you like and we will provide a gift box to you and your adopted pet.

Therapy Animal
Many people confuse Therapy Animals with Service Dogs or emotional support animals. A therapy animal is most commonly a dog (but can be cats and other species) that has been obedience trained and screened for its ability to interact favorably with humans and other animals. The primary purpose of a therapy animal is to provide affection and comfort to people in hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools, hospices, disaster areas, and to people with learning difficulties.
NOTE: Therapy Animals do not have any federally protected rights.

Psychiatric Service Animal
A psychiatric Service animal is simply a service animal for a person with a psychiatric impairment, like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). These animals are individually trained in obedience, performing tasks, and working in distracting public environments to mitigate their handler's psychiatric disability. Their function is not to provide emotional support, but to perform tasks which enable their partner to function in ordinary ways the non-disabled take for granted.
